This is the shocking moment a woman is having sex with her new boyfriend when her ex-partner who has broken into her home burst into the room and stabs her to death.

The 32-year-old woman was reportedly stabbed almost 40 times as she lay on the bed in the city of Guadalupe in the Peruvian region of La Libertad at around 1.10am on 18th July.

According to local reports the attacker, identified as 33-year-old Elmer Lucano Llamas, could not accept that his relationship with Fiorela Liseth Diaz Diaz had ended and broke into her property on the night in question.

He found his ex-partner, a businesswoman and mother of two, with her new boyfriend, named as Jorge Ernesto Colchado Malca, and stabbed first him and then her with a large knife.

The victim’s lover who was the first to be stabbed managed to flee the scene.

Local media said the man took a knife from the kitchen after he broke in.

The suspect was arrested while trying to flee to the town of Hualgayoc on a motorbike with his cousin Salomon Llanos Cieza, who was also arrested.

Lucano Llamas is being held at El Milagro prison in Trujillo. According to reports, he told the police that he regrets his actions.

In the disturbing footage, the suspect is seen bursting into the bedroom while his ex is having sex with her new boyfriend.

He immediately attacks the man and apparently stabs him at least once before he is able to escape.

The knifeman then pushes his ex-partner onto the bed and stabs her in the upper body 39 times, leaving her motionless on the bloodstained bed.
