This is the moment a cool-headed school employee picks up a large snake with her bare hands in front of screaming students before bagging it up to remove it from campus.

The fearless woman was filmed by an amazed student, named as Ms Yu in local media, at a college yard in the city of Jingmen, in the central Chinese province of Hubei on 8th November.

Students from the school gathered around and watched in astonishment as a dormitory worker effortlessly snatched a large snake by its tail after finding it crawling in the nearby bushes.

The woman can be seen swiftly picking up the snake with her bare hands and spinning it in circles a few times, presumably to avoid being bitten and show off in front of the amazed students.

The bewildered Ms Yu told local media that said that she was about to go to class when she suddenly heard a scream coming from outside.

She leaned out the window and saw the bold woman catching the snake with her bare hands.

The woman then carried the serpent to where a coworker was preparing a large sack and gently placed the creature inside to be taken away from the property.

Ms Yu shared the footage on Douyin – the Chinese version of TikTok.

A user under the handle ‘messiliu’ jokingly commented saying: “This aunt participated in World War II, so brave.”
