This is the moment a young girl knocks down a large mounted picture on her sister’s head and then pretends that she is the one who is hurt.

The sisterly scene was filmed at a home in the city of Baoding in the Chinese province of Hebei on 28th December.

According to the girls’ mother Ms Zhang, the two sisters were at home watching TV when the five-year-old girl, name not disclosed, kicked the picture off the wall with her feet.

The picture fell on her sister’s head and they both got scared and started to cry.

In the footage, the two sisters are seen watching telly on the sofa. One girl wearing spectacles is seen sitting normally while her sister lies across the top of the sofa, distractedly moving her legs on the wall surface.

Her feet find the bottom of the picture and she looks up and gives the frame a little push.

The picture lifts off the wall hook and falls forwards, landing on the head of the girl wearing glasses.

She starts crying and her nervous sister follows suit, apparently pretending to be hurt as well.

The video ends with both girls screaming loudly as though they have both been wronged by the other.

Although the flimsy picture frame apparently did not cause any harm, Ms Zhang said that the bespectacled girl hit her leg in the incident and suffered a large bruise.
