This footage shows two drivers going head to head in a bout of road rage race out of a motorway tunnel and flipping another vehicle as they crash before one of them flees the scene.
The shocking incident was captured on a motorist’s dashcam as he drove through the Mashishan Tunnel in the city of Dongguan in China’s southern province of Guangdong on 27th March.
The clip shows a black people carrier driven by Mr Yu and a white saloon car driven by Mr Chen speeding past the dashcam vehicle from either side inside the busy tunnel.
The two cars vie for the same lane and end up crashing into one another like dodgems as they race out the tunnel.
Mr Yu’s people carrier pushes Mr Chen’s saloon to the right, causing it to fishtail as a third and fourth car are involved in the crash.
One of the cars overturns and ends up on its roof before Mr Chen crashes into it. The white saloon then reverses and Mr Chen flees the scene, the footage shows.
According to Dongguan traffic police, four cars were damaged, including those of the two road-rage drivers.
People carrier owner Mr Yu and the owner of the overturned car, Mr Wei, suffered minor injuries.
Both Mr Yu and Mr Chen have been summoned over the road-rage incident, which is said to have began after one cut off the other inside the crowded motorway tunnel.
Both motorists face losing their driving licences.
An investigation is ongoing.
