Gang Shot At By Cops After Fleeing Car That Overturned In Street

This is the dramatic moment three thieves in a stolen car that flips over following a high speed car chase scramble out of the damaged vehicle under heavy gunfire and are chased by pursuing cops.

The incident was filmed in the city of Sarandi in the eastern Argentine province of Buenos Aires on 18th August.

Earlier in the afternoon, the police were informed about the theft of a 60-year-old man’s Citroen C3 Picasso in the town of Gerli.

After leaving behind a Volkswagen Golf Country that was stolen on 16th August, the three suspects escaped the scene in the man’s Citroen.

The group continued to the city of Villa Dominico in the vehicle before robbing a supermarket, according to the news site G1.

After the robbery, the Citroen was chased by cops and overturned in the street and the trio scrambled out of the damaged car and fled on foot as arriving cops opened fire and gave chase.

The three suspects were quickly rounded up after a local resident gave away the hiding place of one man.

No police officers or suspects were injured in the shootout, but all three assailants reportedly suffered multiple injuries when the car overturned.

A .32-calibre revolver was also seized by officers.

The suspects have been identified as two adults aged 25 and 24, named as Carlos Nicolas Guerra and Victor Daniel Jimenez, and 17-year-old minor Agustin Jimenez.
