This is the shocking moment a racist Turkish cabbie calls a black tourist a “terrorist” before allegedly hitting him and asking him if he plans to “do the same” as the New Zealand mosque shooter.
The incident took place when Senegalese national Ousmane Alyly arrived at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport in Turkey’s largest city, Istanbul.
The cabbie then began verbally and physically abusing Alyly, as seen in the video footage the tourist filmed inside the taxi.

According to reports, he has also filed a complaint against the Turkish taxi driver.
In the clip, the cabbie says to the tourist: “Why did you come here? Are you some kind of terrorist?”
He repeats: “Are you a terrorist? Which place are you going to bomb?”
“They attacked the mosque in New Zealand, are you going to do the same here?”
At one point in the footage, the cabbie appears to hit his client.
Alyly told local media: “I got into a cab at the airport and the driver said ‘give me 20 USD (5 GBP)’, but I told him that I did not have dollars with me, only Turkish lira.
“I then asked him to turn the taximeter on and I would happily pay what it shows at the end.
“However, he insulted me and asked if I was a terrorist. He continually offended me and even hit me so I filmed him with my smartphone and then went to a police station.
“When I got out, he insisted that I pay him in EUR but I said that I did not have euros and would only pay with lira.
“The meter showed 48 TRY (6.6 GBP) and I gave him 100 TRY (13.7 GBP) and asked for the change.
“He wanted a tip. I took the 50 TRY (6.9 GBP) change and went away.”
It is unclear whether the police are following up on the tourist’s complaint.
