Flooded Streets And Cars In Charlotte 143 Persons Rescued So Far

This is the moment streets are flooded in North Carolina, leading to the evacuation of a school and the rescue of 143 people trapped.

This emergency took place in 9500 Block of David Taylor Dr, in the city if Charlotte, in Mecklenburg County, in North Carolina in the southeastern region of the United States, on Thursday 12th November 2020.

The video was posted in Twitter by Charlotte Fire Dept (CFD) on the same day.

It shows a parking area completely flooded.

A lot of cars are almost completely covered by the muddy waters.

CFD Units were on scene in the 9500 Block of David Taylor Dr; heavy flooding has lead to the evacuation of a Charter School.

In the process 143 people, mostly kids, we’re rescued and thankfully no injuries have been reported.

The reasons behind the flood have not been specified.
