This is the moment a group of female tourists in a city popular with British holidaymakers jump out of a taxi and start twerking, stripping and jumping on the cars around them.

The incident was filmed by a witness in the coastal town of Split on the Dalmatian Coast in southern Croatia and posted on Facebook where it has been viewed 116,000 times.

In the footage, the women are seen jumping out of a taxi at a red light and bothering the motorists around them by clambering over their vehicles.

As several female tourists dance in between the stationary vehicles, others peel off their clothes and dance on top of the taxi.

One young woman is seen twerking on the cab roof in what appears to be her underwear.

At the end of the clip, the women get back into the vehicles and continue with their journey.

Although local media called the young women tourists, it was not reported where they are from.

However, Split is a popular destination for Brits and is serviced by a number of British tour operators including Jet2 holidays and Easyjet.

Netizen ‘Majalena’ commented: “I don’t know what is going on with women today.”

‘Gogo Ray’ said: “Bravo girls! Life is beautiful.”

‘Branko Senjanovic’ wrote: “I thought it was a stunning performance.”

British Airways is reportedly running flights between London and Split until the end of September. According to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, there were 821,000 visitors from Britain last year (2018), up from just 596,000 visitors from the United Kingdom in 2017.
