This footage shows the bizarre moment a female cyclist is hit by a car at an intersection and then calmly rides off as if nothing had happened.

CCTV footage of the incident, which took place in the city of Jieyang, which is located in Guangdong Province, on China’s south-eastern coast, was shared on social media platform Douyin, which is what TikTok is called in China.

The footage shows the woman cycling along what appears to be a narrow road in a built-up area when she is suddenly hit by a car at an intersection.

The driver most likely did not see her as traffic from the side road appears to be shielded from view by a building.

The force of the impact is so strong that the woman rolls onto the car bonnet and appears to hit the windscreen.

She then rolls back down the bonnet and lands deftly on her feet before calmly walking over to her bicycle, picking it up and riding off as the male driver gets out of his car.

The driver, who appears to be in shock, looks on as she rides off into the distance.

It is believed that the incident did not cause any injuries and it is unclear if the police are investigating the matter.

It is also unclear if the motorist sustained any damage to his vehicle.
