This footage shows roads and homes overflowing with water after a string of serious flooding all over the state of California caused by violent storms.

The images were obtained by Newsflash from the CAL FIRE CZU San Mateo-Santa Cruz Unit, along with a short statement: “Flooding has significantly receded in Pescadero this afternoon, but the danger remains.”

The fire department warned residents that while the weather may seem improved, they should be extremely cautious and heed warning signs.
