Failed Attempt By Pilot To Taxi Across Airfield Results In Embarrassing Low Speed Crash

In a bungled attempt at taxing across an airfield, a pilot drove directly into someone else’s plane resulting in an embarrassing low-speed plane crash.

The incident occurred at the Aero Club in the town of Bragado in the Buenos Aires province of Argentina at 7.00 pm last Sunday (15th August).

In the footage, the pilot can be seen driving his Cessna 152 aircraft across the airfield whilst an onlooker records.

The plane slowly approaches another parked plane, which has been identified as a Piper PA-18 aircraft and smashes into the side of it.

The Cessna’s propellers continue to spin as it hits the stationary aircraft ripping into the PA-18 damaging its wings and sending pieces of metal flying into the air.

Local news site Diario Popular reports that the pilot had just left his hanger when he started driving towards the stationary aircraft.
