FACE OFF: Woman Talking Loudly On Mobile Phone Is Stabbed In Face On The Underground

This is the shocking moment a woman talking loudly into her mobile phone on the underground is stabbed in the face by another woman.

The images were released by police who said that the footage was shot on the Moscow metro as the train travelled between the Govorovo station to the Minskaya station in the Russian capital.

As it arrived, the older woman aged 50 stood up and went up to the woman on the mobile phone and stabbed her in the face, before then swiftly leaving the carriage.

The woman who has been stabbed meanwhile reacts in shock and then stands up clutching her face.

The 36-year-old victim managed to contact local cops who called an ambulance and police then tracked the alleged attacker down to the Oktyabrskoye Pole metro station.

They confirmed that she was a 50-year-old Moscow woman and she has been arrested and charged with threatening to kill a person that could see her jailed for up to 2 years.

In a statement from cops, spokesman Vladimir Vasenin said: “The police officers of the patrol service of the Internal Affairs Directorate on the Moscow metro detained a 50-year-old resident of the capital, suspected of threatening to kill.”

The injured woman, who was hospitalised after being cut with the knife, was later released and it was revealed that her life was not in danger, although medics warned that she could easily have lost an eye or even been killed from the vicious assault.
