EXPRESS TRAGEDY: Girl Killed By Train And Twin Sister Seriously Injured While Recording TikTok Video

A young woman has died while her twin sister ended up severely injured in the hospital when the two of them were hit by a train while trying to record TikTok videos on the railway tracks.

The incident involving twin sisters Larissa and Isabella, 18, reportedly happened in the city of Hamburg, Germany, at around 7.30pm on Tuesday, 17th January 2023.

They were reportedly drinking Jargermeister while standing on the track bed about 250 metres (820 feet) behind the Allermoehe S-Bahn station when the train struck them.

While Larissa died on the spot, her sister Isabella was transferred to a local hospital with severe injuries.

Investigations revealed that it was not the first time that the two women had put themselves in such a dangerous situation for the purpose of filming social media content.

Reports claimed that they shot a similar video on a railbed in East Hamburg a few weeks earlier.

Some time later, they raised a major alarm when walking on the tracks again near the district of Nettelnburg.

A police spokesperson said: “Our investigations have shown that the two women were active on TikTok.”

One of their former classmates claimed: “They lived in their own world and communicated through [typing].”

Following the incident, the police made contact with the teens’ parents and are currently waiting for Isabella’s condition to improve in order to question her.

Meanwhile, as the hydraulics of the train travelling from Hamburg to the city of Schwerin were damaged due to the collision, it could no longer continue its journey.

About 200 passengers were evacuated and asked to continue their journey by bus or cab.

The spokesperson added: “We are investigating in all directions.

“Staying in the track area is prohibited and life-threatening.

“Tracks are not a photo studio!”
