An evil dad with a face tattoo killed and set fire to his five-year-old daughter because she urinated on the floor.

Civil Police in Sao Sebastiao do Paraiso, Brazil, seized cruel Adrian Juliano Martins Herculano on 17th January.

He was remanded in custody and is expected to be charged with aggravated murder and concealment of a corpse.

When Herculano, 21, turned himself in, he told police he had fought with his partner and gone home with his daughter on 12th January.

He said he punched the five-year-old after she urinated on the floor three times.

He claimed this caused her to fall to the floor and hit her head.

Herculano claimed he tried to revive his daughter but to no avail.

So he rolled up her body in a blanket and asked for a lift from an unknown person to an area of woodland.

He then dumped the girl’s body near a stream and set it on fire.

Investigators found the partially-burned and rotting corpse underneath leaves and branches.

Herculano told police he first fled to Sao Paulo but later changed his mind and returned to his home in Monte Santo de Minas.

There, he called his lawyer and then turned himself in.

Civil Police said Herculano had been granted custody of his daughter at the end of December.

It is not clear who was previously looking after the girl.

Herculano has been known to law enforcement since he was 13 years old.

He has already served time for drug trafficking.

His partner was seized on 18th January in connection with the girl’s death.

Contradicting what Herculano told police, she said she was with him and his daughter when the killing took place.

But, claimed 24-year-old Gabriele Ernesto, she was asleep at the time.

She said she only became aware of the crime when her partner woke her up and told her he had done something stupid.

She said she then accompanied Herculano to the area of woodland in Monte Santo de Minas where they dumped the body.

She has been sent to prison in Guaranesia on remand and may be charged with involvement in the murder.

It is not believed she is the girl’s biological mother, who, according to local media has been booked multiple times by police and is a known drug user.

The girl’s body has been sent to the coroner’s office in Passos for a post-mortem examination.
