This is the moment an elderly woman once again screams from a window that she has been robbed, something which she has been doing repeatedly day and night for over four years now.

The incident was filmed by neighbours in the city of Kaliningrad in the western Russian region of Kaliningrad Oblast who complained that local authorities are doing nothing to help her and who should be providing proper care.

In the footage, the elderly woman bangs on her windowsill as she screams out “please call Igor” and “call the police, they took everything”.

According to local residents, the 93-year-old woman, named Nadezhda Mikhaylovna, has however not been robbed, and has actually been shouting the same thing from her window for over four years.

They said she lives alone although her son and daughter-in-law visit her on occasions.

Her family explained that they cannot afford to send her to a private care home and they were unsuccessful in having her admitted to a public institute, according to reports.

The neighbours say that she clearly has mental health issues and often calls the emergency services to report that someone is robbing her when they are not.

Residents also said that the noisy episodes often take place after midnight, and sometimes continue all night until around 6am.

It is unclear whether the local authorities are looking into the woman’s case after the recent local media publicity.
