These images show a granny and granddad with horrific facial injuries after their grandson allegedly attacked them with a machete in a booze and drug-fuelled rage.

The incident took place in the town of Huehuetan in the state of Chiapas on the Pacific coast in southern Mexico when a 21-year-old man named in reports as Luis Antonio went to his grandparents’ house after allegedly consuming alcohol and unspecified drugs. His grandfather has now died as a result of the attack.

He reportedly asked them for money but when they said they had none to give the suspect allegedly took a machete and attacked his 78-year-old grandfather Carlos first and then his 85-year-old grandmother Teresa who is in a wheelchair because of chronic disease.

Two other men identified as Rogelio and Magdiel reportedly suffered injuries to their arms and body during the fight against the aggressor.

The footage shows Luis Antonio reportedly collapsing on the floor because he had mixed alcohol and drugs.
