This is the moment an impatient kid gets scolded after almost running in front of a van, and then seconds later does exactly the same thing again with a car.

The footage was taken from a CCTV camera monitoring the street in the Huangshan region in Anhui Province in eastern China on 18th December.

It shows the little boy standing against a wall and suddenly leaping down into the road just as a van drives in front of him.

He manages to stop himself from getting hit as it goes past and then steps backwards as the driver slams on their brakes.

The sound of somebody shouting can then be heard as a person on the bench remonstrate with the boy for being so careless.

The van driver then heads off and the boy uses this as an opportunity to make a second dash across the street, this time unwittingly again running into the path of another car coming from the opposite direction.

The quick-thinking driver, however, manages to slam on the brakes, allowing the boy to run to safety at the last minute, causing further shouts from the people sitting on the bench behind him.

Meanwhile, the shamefaced kid clearly realising that he has made the same mistake again is up to another adult who he had been trying to reach to apologise.
