WATERED DOWN: Massive Flood In Californian Town Causes Residents To Evacuate

A major sinkhole opened up after a violent storm caused major flooding as water came pouring down the streets of Orcutt, California.

The town suffered great immense to its infrastructure, and 15 people had to be evacuated from their homes.

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.

Streets seem to have been covered with several feet of water as rescuers worked their way through and around the flood to get to affected areas.

Footage taken by Scott Safechuck and obtained by Newsflash shows the devastating aftermath, with one video showing the effects of the storm the night of 9th January, and another of the following day.

Scott wrote in one of his captions: “Damage to road and catchment basin in the Orcutt area.

“There are assessment teams surveying the entire County for damage assessments.”

And by the following day, weather conditions had thankfully cleared up, giving way to an extensive cleanup operation as residents now have to figure out how to deal with the grave damages.
