The video speeds up as both men sit in the freezing water and goes back to its normal speed as “1.45 minutes later…” appears underneath.

Djokovic salutes the camera and says “I think that’s enough” and repeats himself screaming. Both he and Constantine stand up as they both yell and laugh in celebration as they walk to the edge of the stream and put their robes back on.

The video has become viral with 1,015,336 views since its publication a day ago.

Djokovic captioned the video: “Constantine and I survived this mountain stream for 1 minute 45 seconds.. mindset is everything.

“The practice of ice baths looks crazy I know but it’s really beneficial for training the mind and body. Through various techniques (like breathing) we can calm ourselves enough to take on extreme conditions like this and more efficiently battle daily stress in our lives”.

Djokovic said he uses breathing technique the Wim Hof method and finds it beneficial for his overall life: “Mind over matter. Brain over body. I suggest everyone explores it and hopefully rise to this challenge!” (sic)

The world number one went on describe the details of the challenge saying it “must be winter and icy water outside” while wearing “only underwear” with at least “half the body submerged” and “for at least 1 minute.”

The video gained support from fans as several netizens took to social media to complement the tennis ace with ‘stoilmalevski’ saying: “Novak is number one, my idol”.

‘dusan_radovanovic’ said “You are a machine”.

‘uro_92’ left a commented: “What a man! Yesterday you play with neighbourhood kids, today you are in ice cold water. Legend!”

Djokovic has won 17 Grand Slam singles titles and is the first Serbian player to be ranked as the world number one by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
