A car driver captured this spectacular UFO-shaped object near the Macedonian capital Skopje recently.

The video that was taken in broad daylight was uploaded to Facebook on 8th April by Saso Ancevski who said it was taken the previous day around 6:30 AM in the Skopje area near the village of Ajatovci.

The video starts off with the person filming in the car and then climbing out when it gets to a good vantage point in order to film the UFO-like formation.

In the video, people can be heard speaking Macedonian, and in the distance the UFO-like object can be seen hovering over the local skyline.

Ancevski who is a hairdresser from Skopje said he did not know what it was, but that it was genuine and not manipulated footage.

He said: “The video is not a montage or manipulation or an attempt to spread anxiety and panic in a time of crisis, which is happening all too often at the moment with the pandemic. This is what really happened.”

He added that there was a chance it could be a video showing lenticular clouds, but he himself was convinced that it was a UFO saying: “I don’t know who visited us, why and what exactly happened.”

But he added that he believed 2020 was set to be a mysterious year, the most mysterious year ever.

Hundreds of locals lined up to comment on the video, with online user Frosyna Gizharovska saying they had a friend who also take a picture of account – who predicted it would “leak to the public as if it was a UFO”.
