CUFF JUSTICE: Armed Carjackers Seized After Terrifying Hold Up

This is the moment police seize two fleeing car thieves who held a terrified driver at gunpoint before making off with his vehicle.

Newsflash obtained footage from the Atlanta Police Department (APD), along with a statement that said that the incident took place after officers responded to a call about a carjacking at the Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway in the city of Atlanta, Georgia state, USA.

Upon arrival, officers quizzed the victim who said that two men – later identified as Cornell Harell and Tarrell Sanders – took his vehicle at gunpoint while he was filling it up with petrol.

Officers tracked the missing vehicle to where it had been apparently abandoned by the pair.

Bodycam footage shows officers spotting two men walking through the complex on foot matching the exact description of the suspects.

One suspect was detained immediately.

The second suspect attempted to flee from officers on foot but was arrested after a short chase.

Police seized a gun found on him.

Harell and Tarrell were both taken into custody.

The APD later applauded the effort of the officers in identifying and tracking down the dangerous suspects and making these arrests without incident.
