COPTER RESCUE: Dazed Walker Stranded In Park With Alligators, Bobcats and Rattlesnakes

This is the moment a dazed hiker is airlifted to safety after getting lost and dangerously dehydrated in the middle of a Florida state park containing alligators, bobcats and diamondback rattlesnakes.

Newsflash obtained the footage from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), along with a statement that said: “The Aviation Unit and deputies from District 4 helped rescue a man lost in the woods of Little Manatee River State Park.”

The park is home to some of the most dangerous wildlife in the USA including dangerous animals.

The unnamed hiker reportedly called emergency services after realising he would never find his way out unaided.

The Sheriff’s Office said: “Hillsborough County Fire Rescue and Team HCSO air units were able to locate the man deep in some brush off the trail, unable to walk out on his own.

“HCSO Air Service was able to locate the man, rescue him using the hoist, and extract the man to safety.

“HCFR helped treat the man for dehydration at the scene.”

The footage shows the final moments of the rescue mission, as the exhausted hiker who had reportedly spent four hours without water, lands safely.

Sheriff Chad Chronister said: “We are grateful for the life-saving work done by the deputies, the HCSO Air Unit, and our partners at HCFR.”

“We are fortunate to have the necessary tools and training that are crucial in keeping our communities safe,” he added.

Although he was not able to provide any updates on the man’s condition, the sheriff said they hope the man makes a fast recovery.
