These are the incredible all-terrain vehicles a fisherman made for himself to reach the best angling spots which he has now turned into a business.

Kazakh Ayvar Huspanov from the city of Oral in north-eastern Kazakhstan creates the incredible all-terrain vehicles which are capable of driving through thick snow and on shallow water.

He said in an exclusive interview with Central European News (CEN): “Ever since I was a child I was drawn to cars and different kind of mechanics. I have had his passion through my entire life.”

Ayvar graduated from a technical lyceum and then from a polytechnic institute, receiving a degree in mechanical engineer.

He told CEN that one of the main reasons he started creating interesting machines was his love of fishing.

He said: “I am an avid fisherman and hunter myself, and sometimes it is difficult to get to certain places, so I came up with specific vehicles, and then this hobby grew into a business.”

He said that initially he started off working by himself but slowly became surrounded by like-minded people.

“My friends help me.”

His first creation were aerobots that can go through thickets of reeds, travel on shallow water, snow and through swamps at 70 kph (44 mph).

He then assembled a unique tracked module based on a Niva car, which is a ‘prefix’ to a vehicle.

This so-called prefix can be used as a tractor or a machine to clear snow.

Local media report that Ayvar’s creations are most useful for rural areas, where road conditions are poor and SUVs can struggle to drive on the terrain.

Ayvar’s latest creation, which he came up with his pal Pavel Sibilev, is a so-called floating snow and swamp vehicle.

This device is capable of driving through seemingly impassable snowdrifts, as well as swampy terrain. The model is unique because it presses the surface several times less than a human being and can reach speeds of 35 kph (22 mph).

Ayvar told CEN: “I am very inspired by this sort of work and try to find time to come up with new machines. It is a shame that these are not that well-received here but maybe it is just poor marketing…”
