This is the moment a cheeky cyclist feigns an accident with a car before hobbling over to the window to reportedly demand money from the driver.
Sadly for the bicyclist, a nearby CCTV camera in the city of Cali in the western Colombian department of Valle del Cauca recorded the moments leading up to the bogus accident.
In the footage, a white car is seen edging out onto a main road as the cyclist appears and, with plenty of time, he decides to steer away from the vehicle while kicking the wing.
The cyclist then places his bike and bag on the ground before ‘hobbling’ towards he car driver.
The biker is seen gesturing aggressively to the motorist before several passersby walk over to intervene.
According to local media, the cyclist tried to deceive the driver before demanding money from him.
Reports said the case is been investigated by local authorities but it is unknown if they will press charges against the cyclist.
Local official William Bermudez said: “The most important thing, not just with this type of incident but all kinds of road accidents, is to wait for the authorities.
“Sadly, in many cases, scams occur because people do not wait for the authorities to arrive as they fear their vehicle may get impounded.”
