MAC 1: McLaren Supercar’s 200mph Motorway Race With Biker

This is the moment when a McLaren supercar and a high-powered motorbike take each other on in a terrifying high-speed road duel.

Footage of the racers was recorded on the biker’s helmet cam and later posted online.

The video shows how he notched up 308 km/h on the speedometer of his BMW M 1000 RR on the N3 freeway in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

But despite his dizzying speed, he is still overtaken by the McLaren 720S, which veers dangerously close to oncoming traffic on the single-carriageway.

Just as the bike hits 308 km/h (191 mph), the McLaren cruises past it almost as if it’s standing still.

It is not clear how fast the McLaren was going, but its top speed is reported to be 341 km/h (212 mph).

At the time of writing, the clip had racked up more than 450,000 views after it was posted online.

YouTube user ‘DOGA Master’ commented: “Biker: Hold my beer. McLaren: Stop right there.”

Traffic accidents killed about 22.2 people per 100,000 inhabitants on South African roads in 2019, according to the World Health Organization.
