CATCH OF THE DAY: Cops Shoot And Arrest Knifeman Wanted All Over The Country

A dangerous knifeman wanted for a missing person’s case got shot and arrested by a group of police officers in front of a casino after he refused to surrender and then attempted to fight them.

The suspect, later identified as Marcus Lee Lewis, was reportedly wanted all over the US and was finally caught by officers in Reno, Nevada.

The images were obtained by Newsflash from the Reno Police Department, along with a statement according to which officers were called in for a welfare check for a man who was reportedly walking barefoot and possibly carrying a knife.

Officers soon arrived at the scene and attempted to make contact with Lewis, but he failed to respond and instead began running away from them.

Body-worn footage shows Lewis being chased all the way to a local casino, where officers unsuccessfully deployed a taser.

As he continuously refused to cooperate with officers, they then shot Lewis multiple times.

He fell to the ground and dropped his unsheathed knife while officers proceeded to put him in handcuffs.

While investigating, the police reportedly discovered that Lewis was a person of interest in a missing person case in Page County, in the state of Virginia. all

The missing man, Joshua Bradford, was last seen with Lewis on 3rd September, according to the Page County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation into the two cases is currently ongoing.
