GUN-NA GET CAUGHT: LAPD Cops Chase And Arrest Woman Who Waved Gun In The Street

This footage shows LAPD officers arresting an armed and dangerous woman who ran across city streets while waving a gun in her hands.

The incident reportedly began after the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) received a call about a “woman with a gun” at a shopping centre in Los Angeles, in the US state of California.

Officers chased the woman, later identified as Antoinetta Giugliano, 42, all the way to a laundromat where she entered after they had struck her with non-lethal weapons after she refused to comply with orders.

Body-worn footage released a month after the incident, which took place on 14th November, shows Giugliano running away from the officers after she reportedly waved a handgun and pointed it in their direction – and even placed it against her own head.

Newsflash obtained the footage from the LAPD, along with a statement that said: “An impromptu tactical plan was developed amongst the officers at scene, identifying lethal and less-lethal designations.”

Giugliano kept running away from officers even after she was struck two times by a 40 MM Less-Lethal Launcher (LLL).

They finally chased her down to a laundromat which she entered in an attempt to escape them after previously dropping the handgun on the street.

Giugliano was subsequently taken into custody in the laundromat by responding officers without further incident.

She had sustained two welts and bruising to her buttocks area, according to the statement.

After Giugliano was transported to a local hospital, she was treated, released and cleared for booking, the police said.

No other people were injured.

The investigation revealed Giugliano’s firearm was a 6 MM Blue/Steel BB-style handgun, the LAPD said.
