This is the dramatic moment an out-of-control motorist climbs over a tree with their car after hitting another vehicle in the street and spinning in circles.

The incident, captured on CCTV footage, reportedly occurred in Changyang, in China’s central Hubei Province, on 19th March.

A black sedan could be seen reversing out of a yard when its rear collided with a black SUV going straight, whose driver seemingly expected that the sedan’s driver would first wait for them to pass.

The impact destroyed part of the sedan’s rear which then spun around in place as the SUV came to a stop a little further ahead.

While spinning backwards in circles, the sedan then drove into a nearby tree and wound up climbing over it.

It came to a final halt while propped against the tree, with its front leaned against the tarmac.

Meanwhile, one pedestrian carrying bags of groceries watched in shock as the drama unfolded.

Another, dressed in a white T-shirt, could be seen running away to avoid the sedan moments before it hit the tree.

No injuries have been reported in the incident.

Police and local authorities are yet to release any further details.
