This is the moment a public bus driver throws a party for his passengers complete with electronic music and flashing lights.

Murat Turlybaev from the city of Almaty in south-eastern Kazakhstan decided to treat his passengers to a party on board his bus.

Turlybaev, who has been driving buses for 10 years, staged a little show with flashing lights and music while driving the bus.

In the video recorded by a passenger Pascal Letoublon’ song Friendships (Original Mix) can be heard playing through the bus speakers.

The lights on the bus can then be seen flashing as the passengers cheer on the party put on by the driver.

The improvised party took place at around 10pm on 5 January on a bus operating route 12.

Turlybaev, who local media describe as a positive and friendly man, said: “I saw that most of the bus was full of young people, and they asked me to play some music. I wanted to facilitate the mood, this is why I congratulated them with the new year and wished them all the best, turned the music on and added a few effects. It is nice to spread happiness around.”

Netizens loved the clip of the bus party, with ‘Karim’ writing: “I wish there were more people like him.”

And ‘Gulti’ commented: “Would love to ride on a bus like that.”

While ‘Abeke’ mentioned: “Good job, man.”
