Burly Man Attacks Teens In Street Before Plucky Girl Chases Him Away

Story ByMichael Leidig, Sub EditorJoseph GolderAgencyNewsflash

This is the moment a stocky man comes running up to three teen girls in the street and starts beating them and hitting them with a bat before one plucky girl manages to chase him away.

The incident was filmed on Ahmet Krasniqi Street in the Kosovan capital Pristina, and the video was shared on Facebook by a neighbourhood watch group where it has been viewed over 120,000 times.

In the footage, three teen girls are seen standing by a wall as one of them films across the street where a burly man suddenly enters the frame.

The stocky suspect runs across the road towards the girls, and they grow nervous and start to flee the scene.

Apparently caught in two minds, a girl in black clothing hesitates to join her fleeing pals, and the burly man starts kicking and slapping her.

The girl in red returns and apparently uses a bat to hit the man, which ends up on the ground. Meanwhile, she bravely wrestles with him but falls to the ground and he picks up the fallen bat.

He apparently hits her twice with the weapon as the plucky teen gets to her feet, and she chases the burly man down the steps as the clip ends.

The local police have confirmed that they are aware of the video and have launched an investigation to find the male suspect.

It is still unknown why the man attacked the three girls, who reported him to the police.

Kosovo Police spokesperson Flora Ahmeti said the incident took place at around 6pm on 1st September.

Ahmeti added: “Regarding the case, which is considered as bodily injury, police investigators have identified the suspect. He is wanted by the police.”

The investigation continues.
