This is the moment a factory worker is seen with her hair trapped in a large fan after accidentally getting her long locks sucked into the spinning blades.
The freak accident, which left some of her colleagues laughing, reportedly happened inside a factory in the Shekou Industrial Zone in the city of Shenzhen in South China’s Guangdong Province.
Video of the incident believed to have taken place at the end of August shows the female factory worker standing next to the large fan with her hips bent at 90 degrees.
Her head is left stuck right next to the appliance after her long hair was sucked into the fan blades and she was pulled towards the device.
Her coworkers, some of whom appear to be laughing at the fortunate non-fatal accident, can be seen crowding around her, the video shows.
A pair of scissors can be seen nearby, but it is unclear whether they attempted to use them to cut her free.
The factory worker is not thought to have been seriously injured, but it is unclear how long she remained trapped there before she was rescued.
Netizen ‘Xue Lee-V’ commented on China’s Twitter-like service Sina Weibo: “Cut the power and turn the fan blades in the opposite direction!”
