This is the moment a stunning Brazilian WAG defends her footballer husband after a fan threw verbal abuse at them in the street.

Central midfielder for Brazilian giants Palmeiras Bruno Henrique, 25, and his stunning WAG Bhel Dietrich, 22, were walking with their dog in a street in the city of Sao Paulo in the south-eastern Brazilian state of the same name when the incident occurred.

A Palmeiras fan who has not been named by the local media, confronted the couple to express his frustration over Palmeiras’ current disappointing season calling the midfielder a “Pipoqueiro”.

Pipoqueiro is a derogatory term used in Brazil to describe a player that has the tendency to play well against lesser teams but has disappointing performances when facing tougher teams or when titles are on the line.

In the video, Dietrich is quick to step in to defend her husband telling the fan: “Admit what you are doing, be a man when speaking to someone’s face or from afar.

“We have a life too. If you want to criticise someone, go to the stadium. You are being disrespectful and unpleasant.”

The argument went to a point where even Henrique got involved and said: “We know we are going through a bad moment. Do you think I am happy?

“I am walking with my wife. What do you get out of this?”

The video ends with Dietrich walking towards the person filming as she says: “Turn that camera off.”

The fan’s criticism comes after Palmeiras 3-0 loss to Flamengo this past Sunday marking the seventh match in a row without a win. They have had five draws and two defeats.

Palmeiras were knocked out of Copa Libertadores by fellow Brazilian team Gremio in the quarter-finals and the local cup Copa do Brasil by Internacional, also in the quarter-finals.

They are currently fifth in the Brazilian league, having fallen from first place earlier in the season.
