This is the moment a teenage girl is beaten on the ground by a gang of bullies who reportedly forced her to the edge of a forest to carry out the attack.

One of the bullies then posted the video on social media where it was widely circulated before they reportedly tried to delete it.

However, the footage had already been seen by a teacher who urged the education officials in the city of Izhevsk in the western Russian republic of Udmurt to take action and punish those involved.

In the video, the young victim is seen cowering on the ground as the bullies kick her, stand on her body and pull her hair.

The girl’s name and age have not been reported.

After being alerted to the video, the local authorities launched an investigation and named and shamed those involved.

According to reports, the bullies were Alexander Kalashnikov, Vova Yakimov, Anyuta Nurminskaya, Seryozha Yakimov and a girl only identified as Angelina.

The investigation is still trying to establish the circumstances behind the attack.

Netizen ‘Rita Kosacheva’ commented: “Horrible! They never think about the consequences of their actions! Poor child.”

‘Inna Mishina’ said: “Beasts!”

‘Ali Ali’ wrote: “Thugs! If that was my child, I would kill them all!”
