Flying Taxi Leaves Schoolboy Paralysed In Horror Smash

This is the moment a taxi crashes head-on into a SUV before flying through the air onto the pavement and hitting two pedestrians including a schoolboy who was left paralysed.

The incident was filmed on Changji Road in the town of Buji in Longgang District in the city of Shenzhen located in the south-eastern Chinese province of Guangdong, and was later shared on social media.

In the clip, the blue taxi is seen crashing head-on into a SUV before flying onto the pavement where it ploughs into two pedestrians.

While the injured victims slide along the ground, two other pedestrians have a lucky escape and just manage to avoid the out-of-control cab.

According to local media, the taxi driver hit three vehicles before ploughing into the two pedestrians on the pavement.

Reports said that a woman was hospitalised in a serious condition while a boy in school uniform is said to be conscious but currently suffering with paralysis.

According to local media, when reporters arrived on the scene, the unnamed taxi driver told them: “I am the one who knocked over these two people.”

The local police have confirmed that they have arrested the cabbie as the investigation into the incident continues.
