An allegedly drunk British tourist has been arrested for exposing his penis to festival-goers at the world-famous Oktoberfest in Germany.

The 24-year-old Brit was allegedly caught in the act by staff near to the main entrance of the beer festival which takes place every year in the city of Munich the southern German province of Bavaria.

The man was allegedly caught showing off his penis to numerous people whilst spinning around in a circle.

Munich police reported they took the man to the police station which is set up every year in the grounds of the festival.

Police reported the man was not caught playing with his penis and it was not erect and therefore he did not commit any sexual act.

The man was however taken into custody for further questioning and still may face consequences for indecent exposure, according to Munich police.
