Brazilian actress and model Blenda Ohanna has broken off her eight-year relationship with singer Rodrigo Principe after discovering through Facebook that he had numerous lovers and a secret child.

Ohanna told local media that she broke off her engagement with the pagode (a sub-genre of samba) singer and left the apartment they shared in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro.

She said: “Worst of it all is that his family knew about this two-year-old son and lied to me. I found out through my fans who sent me a Facebook post in which the child’s aunt had exposed everything on the web.”

Local media revealed that the child’s mother is a 21-year-old fan of the singer. Principe was seemingly able to get away with having numerous flings and seeing his secret child by passing off such visits as part of his busy schedule.

According to Ohanna, Principe is desperate to rekindle their relationship.

She told local media: “He’s annoying me with messages and calls. Rodrigo calls me saying that this will end his career and that he still loves me.”

Ohanna, who is 26 or 27 years old, has 350,000 followers on Instagram. Principe’s 2020 hit ‘Te Assumo Com Tudo’ (‘I’ll Take You on with Everything’), featuring fellow samba artist Tiee, has 494,000 views on YouTube.

The toned model told local media that she is not ready for another relationship at the moment.

She said: “Messages reach me every hour. I’m single and very well like this. I don’t want any more lies in my life.”
