A female cop has been fired for posting raunchy snaps of herself working out in the gym and attending social events in high heels while on sick leave because she was shot in the foot.
Corporal Andressa Christine Medeiros dos Santos, 33, assigned to the Brazilian Military Police’s Pacification Police’s Office (CPP), was dismissed on 12th March for “serious disciplinary transgression”.
According to the police, the curvy cop was shot in her left foot in July 2018 and was removed “from work duties to recover from the injury”.
However, on 30th August, just over a month after suffering the injury, she “posted a video on her social page performing physical exercises at the gym”.
The police said she was then seen “dancing and wearing high heels” at two events in December that year.
The authorities emphasised that the officer “was on leave for health treatment at the Corporation’s orthopaedics clinic”.
She returned to work in January 2019 on restricted duties that prevented her from being on her feet for long periods of time, but she was again snapped “dancing in high-heeled shoes” at two events that month.
The authorities added that she was dismissed for displaying conduct unbecoming of a Military Police officer and for “being on medical leave for repeated periods while maintaining a routine of social and physical activity inconsistent with her reported health status”.
The report also pointed out that she was first declared “unfit for Military Police service” in May 2016 for an unspecified “incurable disease” before being considered “category-A fit” just a month later.
Andressa joined the CPP over 10 years ago when she was 21 years old.
She has yet to publicly respond to her reported dismissal.
