This footage shows a brave woman slamming an alleged upskirt pervert against the doors a bus after the driver locked them to stop him running away.

CCTV footage from the route 802 bus in Hefei, capital of Anhui Province in East China, shows the suspect wearing a red shirt making a run for the open front door of the stationary bus.

The man, reportedly around 30 years of age, had allegedly taken upskirt photos of a female passenger who wrestled his mobile phone from his hands.

The suspected pervert snatched his phone back and tried to escape through the front doors, reports said, but bus operator Mr Wang heard the cries of the female victim and boxed the alleged culprit inside.

Footage of the incident on 8th November shows the man with nowhere to run when his victim confronts him at the front of the bus, shoving him and trying to make him give up his mobile phone.

She is aided by a second bus operator, Mr Meng, who boards the vehicle and, together with another passenger, subdues the suspect and relieves him of his smartphone.

The video ends with the bus doors being opened once more as uniformed officers arrive to arrest the suspected bus pervert, who was taken away for questioning.

It was unclear at the time of writing whether he had been charged for his alleged offence.
