She pushes the man away and returns to shouting at the bus driver, who protests his innocence.
However, she slams him against the bus and tries to knee him in the groin before slapping him again.
All the while, the middle-aged driver calmly tries to reason with the angry woman.
According to local media, the woman, identified as Ozlem A., was selling water in front of the bus stop when the bus driver, Ibrahim B., asked her if she would change his coins for banknotes.
She agreed, but then accused the man of suggestively touching her hand when they were exchanging the monies.
After the video appeared online, transport official Mehmet Erler called Ozlem and Ibrahim in for a chat.
During the discussion, the woman admitted that she had misread the situation and apologised to the driver for her reaction, according to local media.
