This is the moment a pair of thieves crawl along the garden of house before sprinting inside and aiming guns at a group of women having a drink inside- taking one of them hostage.

The incident took place at around 11.18 PM on Tuesday in the neighbourhood of Condor Alto of the town of Villa Allende, in the north-central Argentine province of Cordoba.

In the video, the two thieves can be seen crawling along the patio of a house, taking precautions to not be seen.

Then the pair suddenly spring into action, running inside and pointing their guns at a group of women who were reportedly having a ladies night at the dining table.

Some of the women flee in panic whilst one of the thieves grabs a woman by the neck and takes her hostage whilst his accomplice steal the women’s belongings.

The thieves, with their faces covered, then run out of the back door.

Catalina, one of the women, said to local media “My mum was in the kitchen and my dad in the room. When they heard our screams, my dad went to the living room and locked us in the corridor until the thieves left”.

Catalina Padros, 19, was the only one who did not have her mobile phone stolen and she called the police, who reportedly took ten minutes to arrive.

She said: “When we went out of the corridor one of my friends was not there. We were desperate because her mobile phone had been left inside the house.”

Her friend had reportedly escaped and asked neighbours for help. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Padros added: “I only remember that they broke in, aimed at us and shouted at us to shut up, and then I went into shock and went blank.

“They were real guns but I am not sure if the guns were loaded.”

It is unclear if any arrests have been made or if an investigation has been launched.
