This is the moment a Moldovan drink-driver in a transit van smashes into a 15-year-old schoolgirl on a zebra crossing dragging the teen under the vehicle’s chassis for several feet.
The incident took place on the morning of 19th April in Prundu Bargaului in the country of Bistrita-Nasaud in the north-central Romanian region of Transylvania and was filmed by a nearby CCTV camera.
In the footage, the unnamed schoolgirl is seen walking on the zebra crossing as a red transit van ploughs into her head on and comes to a stop several metres away.

According to local media, the emergency services were called to the scene and paramedics treated the 15-year-old before transferring her to a nearby hospital.
Reports said that she was still in a conscious state when she was admitted to hospital despite suffering multiple injuries and a strong blow to the head.
The young road victim is now said to be in a stable condition and out of danger.
Meanwhile, the 33-year-old transit van driver from the Republic of Moldova was detained and subsequently failed a breath test, according to local media.
The local authorities have reportedly filed a criminal case and launched an investigation.
