A beautiful pro-basketball player who had an affair with a married man could be facing jail time after she dumped his wife’s Cartier jewellery, diamonds, kids clothes and even private pictures in the trash as revenge after he chose his wife and family over her.

Russian athlete Victoria Shcherbakova was accused of causing over RUB 2 million (GBP 20,178) in damages by her former lover during an alleged fit of rage when she caught him apologising to his wife and begging her to come back over their affair.

She was reportedly dating IT specialist Lestat Kim and seemingly did not mind him being married to 28-year-old Anfisa with whom he has a two-year-old daughter.

The couple had recently had a row and the wife had gone away to calm down for a few days, when he apparently moved his new sporty girlfriend into the family home.

But the love triangle came to a bitter end when Lestat’s wife learned of his infidelity after seeing a picture him at a basketball game captioned: “I never thought that I would become a fan of women’s basketball.”

Anfisa reportedly became suspicious since her husband was never interested in sports.

And when she looked on the young woman’s social media page, she found pictures taken at their family home, and wrote to her to tell her to leave.

The row prompted the hubby to choose sides and when his new lover saw how he was apologising profusely to his wife, she realised she had lost.

And apparently wanting to make a dramatic exit, Victoria allegedly threw away items ranging from private pictures to expensive jewellery – including a Cartier bracelet and a Cartier watch – clothes, kids’ toys, and even a fake Christmas tree.

Anfisa told Russian media: “Lestat met her on a dating site at a time when we had a row and my daughter and I flew to my friend in Istanbul. He used the time to bring Victoria to our house.

“She knew that he was married, that he had a child. But she wasn’t embarrassed.

“She even moved into our apartment temporarily.

“I messaged her demanding she leaves my apartment, that she was sleeping in my bed with my husband.

“[I can] let him do it wherever he wants, but not in my home.”

She said Shcherbakova shared the message with her lover, who immediately called Anfisa after realising he was caught.

Anfisa continued: “My husband began to apologise, began to offer options on how to save the family.

“When Victoria realised that he was not choosing her, she apparently decided to take revenge.

“She collected all my things from the apartment and just threw them in the trash while my husband was not at home.

“She threw away documents, jewellery, namely wedding rings, an engagement ring, Cartier bracelet, Cartier watch, graduation album, children’s clothes, my shoes, sneakers, Louis Vuitton boots.

“She wanted to hurt me so much that she even threw out the artificial Christmas tree that Lestat and I chose.

“All my daughter’s toys – which I specially picked to match, so that it was pink and golden. Ballerinas, dancers, baby strollers… Everything is in the trash.”

Anfisa added: “When my husband found out about the thrown things, he was shocked.

“He didn’t even notice right away. When Victoria moved in, they put my things in bags and put them in the children’s room.

“After that, she herself admitted both in correspondence with him and on the phone that she had thrown everything away. Lestat told me later…

“My reaction? I burst into tears.”

The young woman’s act of revenge did not go unnoticed by everyone, however, as neighbours reportedly spotted her dumping out all the bags.

The high cost of Victoria’s retribution prompted Anfisa to report the case to the police.

But rather than apologising for the alleged damage, Victoria has reportedly threatened she was not through with the couple.

She called the accusations “fake” but allegedly told Anfisa things “will not end just like that”.

Victoria used to play for the Novosibirsk Dynamo basketball club and is currently part of the Runa Moscow basketball club, local media said.
