An influencer with a shocking and rare skin disease has spoken of her delight after giving birth to a healthy baby girl.

Kah Ferreira, who suffers from a rare skin condition called Xeroderma Pigmentosum, gave birth to her baby girl in Fortaleza, the capital of the north-eastern Brazilian state of Ceara, on Sunday, 8th January, at 4:23pm.

Happy mum Kah can be seen with her husband Edmilson Alcantara by her side after giving birth to little Zaya, who weighed 3.4 kilogrammes (7.4 lbs) and measured 51 centimetres (20 inches) at the time of her birth.

Quoting the song ‘Anunciacao’, by Alceu Valenca, Kah said on Instagram, where she has over 395,000 followers: “The angel’s voice whispered in my ear, I don’t doubt it, because I already hear your signs, that you would come on a Sunday morning, and I announce you in the bells of the cathedrals!

“Sunday, 01/08/2023 at 4:23 pm, weighing 3.4 kg and measuring 51 centimetres, squandering health and beauty, you arrived my princess and a xerox of dad drooling for a change!”

She added: “God had already planned everything, everything was already written by him, when I consecrated you there was him still in my womb he wrote your story, and he did everything according to his will, in the most perfect in the world, and trusting him follows my heart, and now looking at you I know that I made the right choices, and would do and go through it all again.”

Little Zaya, who is reportedly a healthy baby, already has her own Instagram handle, where she had notched up over 76,000 followers at the time of writing.

Xeroderma Pigmentosum is a hereditary skin condition characterised by an extreme sensitivity to the sun and a very high risk of skin cancer and other health complications.

People with XP are extremely sensitive to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun.
