This top Turkish football player’s WAG, who once reportedly accused her husband of cheating on her after reading his star chart, has claimed he beat her up, and, labelling him a “monster”, has shared these graphic images online.
Mihriban Hurmaci has vowed to divorce Ozer Hurmaci, 35, who plays as an attacking midfielder for Bursaspor, who won the Turkish Super League in 2010.
Mihiriban, whose husband at first threatened to divorce her after she reportedly determined that he was cheating on her after having read his star chart, told Turkish TV: “Last night at 9pm, I saw messages and photos of other women on Ozer’s mobile phone. That’s why we started arguing.
“I was suspicious. I took his phone, I looked at it. He had messages with women. I went to him to ask him, he got angry.
“He pulled me into a room and started hitting my hands and face. He hit my head on the windows. He threatened me by saying ‘I’ll kill you’.”
“The children witnessed these acts too. I went to the police and filed a report. They took Ozer into custody. I will not tolerate being cheated on. I will divorce Ozer!”
Mihiriban reportedly filed a criminal complaint, and her husband has now been detained. She shared graphic images on social media showing blood pouring out of her nose and down her face, and said: “I never want to hide this… You are a monster.”
Mihiriban is an astrologer, and her husband reportedly threatened divorce after she accused him of cheating on her after having read his star chart.
Ozer, who was born in Germany, has also played for top-flight clubs Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor, and has two international caps for the Turkish national side.
The couple’s wedding in 2015 was witnessed by Trabzonspor president Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu, deputy president Ali Uzunay, and manager Ersun Yanal.
The couple, who have three children together, reportedly started to encounter problems in their relationship soon after the wedding.
When Ozer was transferred to Erzurumspor in 2018, his wife reportedly refused to move to Erzurum, and he had to live alone for a spell.
According to reports, he filed for divorce at the Istanbul Family Court on 1st September last year, after six years of marriage to Mihriban.
In his petition, the footballer reportedly made reference to his wife’s interest in astrology, and claimed she told him “you are cheating on me” while looking at her husband’s star chart.
He blamed Mihriban for the breakdown in the marriage, and he is also filing for custody of their three children.
Lawyer Ozlem Alp said: “Excessive jealousy is a reason for divorce.
“It is considered a serious fault, according to the Supreme Court of Appeals, to accept events that do not exist in reality, based on constant astrological predictions or fortune-telling, and to use psychological abuse by one of the spouses being excessively jealous of the other based on these assumptions.”
But he reportedly changed his mind, and the couple tried to patch things up. And now, with the publication of these shocking images, Mihiriban has said that she will divorce him.
Ozer started his football career in his hometown in Germany with amateur team Hermania Kassel. He later played for Turkgucu Kassel and Baunatal. He was then scouted by Ankaraspor, and came to Turkey when he was 17 years old.
Holding both Turkish and German citizenship, Ozer was available to be selected for both national sides, but went on to represent Turkey.
