Angry Hubby Filmed Shoving Wife Off Bridge Into River

This is the moment a man shoves his wife head first off a bridge resulting in him being arrested for attempted murder.

The Xianyan Police Station in Wenzhou’s Ouhai District, which is in East China’s Zhejiang Province, says it detained the husband surnamed Wang, 46, after he handed himself in to officers at the scene and told them what he had done.

CCTV footage from Jing’an Bridge in the village of Xianlin captured the incident which happened as Wang and his wife surnamed Liao, 42, walked home together.

The video shows the couple, who are said to have been arguing, walking side by side along the bridge.

Seconds later, Wang grabs his spouse and pushes her over the parapet.

The split-second rage sees the wife pushed off her feet, and she tumbles over the edge into the water below.

Authorities say Liao was rescued by members of the public and did not come to any serious harm.

Police said that Wang remained at the scene and handed himself in when officers arrived.

He has been detained on attempted murder charges, with further investigations still ongoing.

The police said Wang and and his wife had been arguing on the bridge when his spouse said something that “triggered” him.

It was not revealed what the argument was about.
