This is the moment a furious man wrecks his girlfriend’s scooter in front of a cool-headed traffic cop who is giving him a ticket, very nearly dropping the vehicle on the girl and the officer as he does so.

The incident took place in the area of Serpong in South Tangerang located in the westernmost Indonesian province of Banten when biker Adi Saputra was stopped by Officer Oky for not wearing a helmet, among other violations.

Ironically, it was not even his scooter to smash up and reportedly belonged to his girlfriend, who is seen pleading with him in the video and who can be heard crying in the background.

The biker’s tantrum was filmed by an onlooker and posted to Twitter by netizens ‘Rio Ramabaskara’ and ‘Basibanget’ where it has been viewed 670,000 and 270,000 times respectively.

In the footage, Saputra is seen angrily flipping the scooter over as his worried girlfriend pleads with him to go easy.

She quickly moves out of the way when the bike nearly hits her and Saputra continues to rips bits off and throw the vehicle about.

He strides past the bored looking cop as the official impressively keeps his cool while writing out the ticket.

At one point, he throws a large rock at the scooter while his girlfriend is heard screaming in the background.

According to a police statement, the biker rode the wrong way up a street, probably to avoid the cops, and did not have a licence or vehicle registration.

He also failed to wear a helmet and reportedly did not have any ID on him.

Meanwhile, his stripped down scooter was impounded as the investigation continues.

It is unclear whether Saputra will be charged for his spectacular outburst.
