This is the moment a young woman is bitten by a black swan during a day out at the park with a girl pal.

The video was filmed in the city of Hefei in the Chinese province of Anhui and the footage has been widely shared on the social network Douyin.

The woman, name reported, said she decided to visit the park with a friend because the sun was out and it was a lovely day.

The two pals met up and enjoyed a stroll in the park before making their way over to a lake to watch the “beautiful black swans”.

While enjoying the sunshine and scenery around them, the two women noticed a swan approaching the bank and went over to say ‘hi’.

In the video, the camerawoman approaches the swan and says “you are coming up” and outstretches her hand.

However, the swan lashes out and nips her hand, causing the young woman to scream in shock.

She then turns on her heals and runs away with the aggressive swan giving chase.

As she turns around, her friend is also seen running from the swan as it raises its wings and chases them both.

In the next scene, the young woman shows her bitten hand to the camera.
