The rescue took place in Veterans Memorial Soccer Field on Hillstown Rd., in the town of Manchester, in the state of Connecticut, located in the South Eastern area of the United States, on Sunday 1st November.

As reported by Manchester police, a caller reported a deer that got its antler entangled in the net of a property.

The video, published on the Facebook site of Manchester Police Department, shows a group of people including police officers holding the deer on the ground.

When they fix the issue with the net, which looks like a stick, they slowly proceed to release pressure on the immobilized animal.

At the end, there’s only a man and a woman holding it, who suddenly let it go.

For a glimpse of a second, it seems like the deer is about to furiously attack them but then almost instantly turns around and ventures into the bush.

It was reportedly a successful rescue.
