Women Brawl And Bite In Park As Well-Behaved Dogs Look On Bemused

Two German women are under investigation for fighting and biting in a park on Christmas Eve while their well-behaved dogs watched on bemused.

The incident took place in a park in the town of Eisenach in the central German state of Thuringia on the morning of Friday, 24th December.

The police said a 27-year-old woman was walking her pooch in the park when she encountered a 51-year-old woman allegedly hitting her pet dog.

The enraged young woman confronted the older dog owner and a heated row quickly ensued.

A police spokesperson explained: “At first, she told the other woman that you do not raise dogs like that.”

This angered the older woman, and the argument quickly grew violent. The police said they then “attacked each other”.

During the altercation, the 51-year-old woman reportedly fell to the ground and, feeling vulnerable, sank her teeth into her rival’s calf.

The police said the older woman “did not know what to do and bit her opponent’s calf, which injured her”.

The police also pointed out that the women’s dogs were apparently better behaved than their owners, stating: “They just looked on and there was no biting between them.”
