This is the moment a waiter has his skull fractured by a group of seven drunk men in a bar after they reportedly whistled at him to get his attention and he said he was not a dog.

The incident took place in the town of Slatina in the eastern Croatian region of Slavonia when the group of unnamed men entered the establishment for a birthday celebration.

According to the beaten waiter, identified as 22-year-old Danijel Relatic, the group whistled at him to get his attention and he replied that he is not a dog.

Incensed by his remark, the group allegedly began beating him.

He said: “One of them broke a bottle on my head from behind.”

Relatic claimed that he was defended by his younger sister, who was at the bar at the time, and one member of the group who confronted his friends about their actions.

According to an eyewitness, the boozed gang hit the young waiter with their fists, feet and a bottle of Jack Daniels.

The group was also provoking other customers, according to witnesses.

Meanwhile, Relatic was reportedly taken to hospital with facial injuries and a fractured skull.

He said that he had worked at the bar for three weeks, but does not plan on returning.

It is unclear whether any arrests have been made yet. The police investigation is ongoing.

‘Josip Ambrus’ said: “Seven against one? Excellent! You are well hard! I would love to see seven of him against them.”

‘Marina Mavrovic’ wrote: “Out of all those ‘men’, only one girl [the victim’s sister] stood between them and defended him. That says everything.”
